I got my truck from one my my customers that wanted out from underneath the payments. I got a while back and he asked me how I like Ram APP. I told I didn't know what that was so be showed me info on his phone of my truck. At first I couldn't get because he still had the VIN under his acct. He deleted it and now it wants to sell the service. He said he has never paid for the service so I'm confused. Is this a charge service for the app?

It is free for a while then you have to pay for it.

EDIT: I just opened my app. I can see... health report, fuel level and digital glovebox. Basically garbage

I had it for free for three months. It would allow me to start my truck from my phone and a few other things, like location etc. It ended a few months ago.

I also have a Ford F150 with the Ford Pass App. It is free. It allow you to remote start your truck, see location, unlock it, also schedule a start time. I used the scheduled start feature the most when I was up north in the winter. If I had to pay for the Ford App I would probably not have it either.

The product is called UConnect. After my initial subscription ran out I never renewed it. I dont like to play with my cell phone, and the thats what its really geared toward. Forgot what GMs version was called, but they have a similar product...useless.
