Ram hit wall at Atlanta Drag Strip 8-1-2015

A lifted ram hit the wall last night going into the traps, lost the ass end and that was that. I think it was a diesel; guy was ok but wanted to know if anyone knows who he is or if he's on the forum? He was running 13's too.
Glad he's ok but sorry about your Ram who ever you are.

That depends on the insurance riders. For instance, my insurance says engeged in a race, preparing for a race, or tuning for a race. None of those cover an open track event.

I know because I lost a car during an open track event.

na. Call AAA, throw the guy 100 bucks and tell him to write down the "from location" on the side of a road. Or have him tow you from the pits to a road somewhere and then call the cops.. make sure you scrub the numbers off tho.. and take off your slicks lol

People that actually try that though are the reason the rest of us with morals have higher insurance rates.

It's not the internet, it's my money.

That's just how it is. Even though I don't have a single ticket or accident on my record I still have to pay higher rates because there are other ******* 23 year olds out there.

I got rearended and put in a claim to get my bumper fixed. the person that hit me went out the next day and drove their car into a telephone pole and tried to blame it on the same accident saying it was my fault. I had 1500 bucks worth of damage... the Toyota Highlander - $10,500............. That was some fun paper work..

That's why you ALWAYS get a police report.

Ha! I asked for one but there wasnt one... cause the cops didnt come to our accident so why would there be one right. So my Agent said there was a tow report(no tow truck for our accident tho..). So I asked for the date on it and a "to and from" and only the "from" location was filled out, however it was dated 2 days later.

Im thinking ******** knew some one and got it set up but they screwed up on the date. I hope my insurance didnt buy it tho..


EDIT.. I just reread your comment and get what your saying. The guy was trying to take off on me. the only reason I was able to file a legit clam was cause I got his plate.. No cop would of showed up at 4:30 traffic for a rearender in the greater boston area. NO WAY. What I should have don was taken pictures of him and the car.. Lesson learned
