These were one of the quickest small blocks you could buy in 71

I think the Camaro was late on the leave,it wouldn't have made much differance though,as i think the Cougar could of gave up a length and still caught the Camaro.
I still love Sprinsteens song ,it brings back memories of being a kid,lol

Nothing was said about what driveline he has behind the 5.7,but if he had either the 8 speed auto or 6 speed manual, this would be a nice daily driver,or one to take on a trip.I'm not a fan of it's stance, but always loved the 70 SuperBee body

Bought my wife a day at the track for her birthday. Her rented spec car died and so they gifted her a ride in a competition drifter and my favorite, a ride in an older Radical.

Who knows what option this Camaro had? View attachment 551525
Filled with Javex bleach they did a better job, then melting ice/snow,lol.They worked good for about 1 winter before they died, lol. My old 68 had that option, but by the time i bought the car in 77,it was already dead,so it went in the garbage, about 20 years later i started kicking my rear for throwing it away,as even dead they bring some good money
