My buddy just had the Raptor side steps put on his new F150 FX4...and I'll say they are the best looking side steps I've seen. Steel, flat, and sprayed with bedliner spray... here's an example.

Anyone know if it's possible to put these on a 2014 1500 CC? Or know of another product that is very similar that could be sprayed with rhino, hurculiner, linex, etc?

Uhm, I think he's talking about the steps off of a F150 Raptor, not the Raptor brand steps.

My neighbor has a raptor, and I've wondered the same thing, but we've never been up under both of them at the same time to see what all would be involved. I'm willing to bet that it's not even close to plug-n-play. Most likely three mounting brackets per side (something any sheet metal fabricator could do easily), weld them on, will need to shoot the brackets and touch up the step with Line-X, probably easiest to get a set of the threaded clips from N-Fab that clip right into the Ram frame openings (I have N-Fab and those clips are slick), then some 1/2-13 blots the right length with some heavy washers, and you got it.

Certainly! Just a matter of getting some brackets made up that go between the two.

IMO, the Raptor steps are useless as steps (On a raptor anywho)
They're so close to the body only a 5 yr old could actually step on them.

You are correct in what I was wanting to do...I was really curious as well to see how'd they look - like another poster said they may not be far enough away from the body to work well.

But that's the thing - I like the clean look of no steps, but also like the function of them (so I looked at the retracting ones and am not sure I wan't to do that much work).

Looks like I'd probably have to find them and then find a fabricator to weld up some attachment points.

Well, I've ridden in my neighbor's Raptor numerous times, and I find the Raptor steps to be plenty wide enough and very useable. they also do a nice job of protecting the side of his truck. I hope you give it a shot. Certainly post up picks if you do.
