Rattling noise under hard acceleration

So today was beautiful day, decided wash the truck and take it for a drive. Windows are all open while getting up to speed to merge on the highway I hear a rattling noise under hard acceleration. I have been able to recreate it 60-75% of the time. I cannot figure out what it is but I found a video which has the same noise and under all the same conditions. Has anyone else had this issue and got it fixed? I have to go back to the dealer anyway for work I would like a give them some guidance if possible to get this fixed.

hi it sounds like your engine is in need for higher octane fuel do you use the 89 oct. gas if the detonation still there may be a different problem when you go to the dealer mention it to service writer good luck

Thank you for the suggestion, I always run 89 octane in the truck. I actually added some octane booster and it went away. I guess I must have had a bad batch of gas, I had to make a pit spot and there were no gas stations for a few miles where I was.

Try running top gear gas.

I typically run Mobil or Sunoco, where I was last weekend I had no option but to get no name gas.

One treatment makes a noticeable difference.

^^^ A must when you use no name gas imo. 1/2 bottle make a good treatment, 5 bucks.

In that case, I would just get a couple gallons till I could get my normal gas.
