This may not be in the topic spot it’s supposed to be in so if not forgive me as I’m new to this sort of stuff. I bought a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Longhorn with the 5.7 Hemi back in March. Had 43,000 and some change on it. I drove it to 64,000 which is 4,000 over the power train warranty and the rear end blew the seals out the drivers side, doing this it ruined the thing. Dodge said they wouldn’t cover it and would not give me any grace saying that the rear end was warped, well I didn’t warp it did they ever think that the heat from it shooting all the fluid out of may have cause it?! I sent it to the dealer from which I bought it from and they kept it for around a week an half then had me come get it saying it was fixed. I had to contribute $1,000 which is better than $3,500 the other place wanted, I drove it for another few thousand miles and had it put in the body shop for some cosmetic repairs it needed from a mishap I had on the passenger side doors. Right before putting it back in the shop I installed new pads and rotors all the way around the truck, noticed no leaks or anything. After three weeks in the body shop I get it back, I didn’t have the thing 600 miles and the rear end does the same thing blows the driver side seal. So now it’s in the shop here at home under warranty thank God but nonetheless here I am paying for a broke down truck. I own a 2006 that I bought brand new and have had zero mechanical issues and it has 230,000 on it!! If it doesn’t get fixed right this time I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER DODGE AS LONG AS I LIVE PERIOD. I WON’T ALLOW ONE TO EVEN PARK IN MY DRIVEWAY. Frustrated is an understatement, now that my ranting is over has anyone else had issues with the Dodge rear ends? Is there something to do aftermarket wise that helps or fixes the issues?? Any thoughts you guys have would be appreciated. Sry for the rant!
