Getting ready to do a rear diff service. I have an 05 2500 2wd with Hemi. Wondering how to find out what rear axle i have so I can order a diff cover. What's everyone's favorite gear oil?

Just look at the bolt pattern of the cover and you should know. Then match it up on website such as just differentials of something similar.

You should have a 10.5 rear on the back of your truck. Check for a metal tag on the diff and see if it has that number stamped in to it. Almost 100% positive its a 10.5
