Rear Sliding Window Problem

So, yesterday on my way to work I had the rear defroster on. I noticed the two stationary rear window pieces defrosted nicely, but the center sliding piece was not defrosting. Today I went and looked at it and noticed the power cord housing was crooked. It popped off in my hand and it's held on by two little button looking things. Problem is, the bottom "button" is broken off and still attached to the housing. Has anyone else had this problem? My truck is only a month old so I'm assuming it can be fixed under warranty, or will the dealership tell me it's wear and tear?

It will be repaired under your 3/36 Basic Warranty. I fixed one last week for this issue.

Is there a do it yourself fix for those of us that are out of warranty? Mine didn't come off but the bottom piece is broken like the op.

Dang, going to hijack this thread, took my pup to the vet today, getting the back seat area back to normal, noticed that my entire defrost part is off the center (see pic). Looks to be held on by some type of solder set up. No button as shown from the OP.
Any idea on a quick repair?
I have 37900 on my Ram, extended warranty but if I can DIY, the better. TIA
