Additional turn, stop, running and on some reverse lights on the back of the truck.

You just have to see and check for tailgate clearance, because the change in 2019 to the DT style, really narrowed the gap between the bottom of the tailgate and any mounting point for a light strip. But the adapter and the Curt 5 pin is the way to go to wire up.

I've been told that the new Putco light bars are "plug & play" for the 5th gens. I have a Putco, and have been very happy with it. It's your truck, so if you like the looks of the additional lights, go for it.
