ah, I figured that had something to do with a facebook crossover. So do we get something when we get a lot of likes? Sounds like a good contest, most likes in month wins something. LOL by the way checked out your build your truck looks sweet.

Thank you! :birgits_tiredcoffee

Tuners like the max energy and predator arent the best for diesels as they mostly jack up the rail pressure unlike tuners like smarty, H&S etc.

In your instance, I would just have the dealer do it or just have the tires mounted and balanced and not worry about the speedodiffence (you could also use a gps)

Shame about not being able to delete, especially since its a 5 year warranty lol

If this is what you are suggesting, OP, I would get the speedo calibrator. Even if its once you will set your tires, you can run your own diagnostic on the vehicle and know before hand what is wrong.
My 2 cents

$230 seems like alot for me to only adjust tire sizes and for a scanner...
+$50 to still have the tires mounted and balanced

What may seem high and of no value to you may not be the same for someone else.
I too would think about paying $230 for the hypertech, but I got mine for $160
I did not hesitate to purchase it :naughty:

Thanks guys, the hypertech is an option, and Dave gave me a good price, but a local shop that has a very good reputation and actually does some work for the dealers and was recommended by some fellow ram owners can do the speedo calibration and install the tires for less than $80.00. That savings can be added to suspension upgrades or deletes down the road. Really appreciate everyone's advise and thanks Dave for the fast response earlier. I will definitely be giving you a call when it is time to do the deletes.

As far as scanning for DTC, I can already do that with my tablet with a Bluetooth adapter and the torque App. Not bad for $20 for the app and adapter, now if I could get it to work as a programer as well that would be great. No wires to run and one less screen to look at. Keep hoping H&S or someone will come out with a replacement touch screen radio that does the programming, or at least compatible with my tablet.

No problem, I am sure in time everyone will do away with the stand alone program and go to an tablet app.
