Recall Notice

Got a recall today on my truck. Says all 13/14 rams need a reflash for the ABS. Anyone else get one in the mail?

I haven't received any recall notice yet. But if I do and I bring the truck to the dealership I have to take the tune off. I guess I will see what the say about tuning..and if they notice the extra flashes...

Will this erase the programmed tune? Should we return to stock ecu before going for any "reflash"??

Definitely return to stock tuning before going to dealer for anything.... Never know when they'll pop a reflash on you

They won't care about the extra flashes. If it is an abs update, they likely won't look at the pcm.

Doesn't hurt to put things back to factory settings. You can always change it back when your done.

Got my recall notice yesterday. I would go back to stock. You never know what can go afoul when any type of flash is involved.

So far it looks like only guys with 6.4's have gotten the notice. Just a 2500 recall?

I have a 3500 dually and the recall applies to my truck also. I haven't got a notice in the mail but on the Rams owner site it states my truck is being recalled for the ABS.

I haven't received anything but checked with my dealer today. The ABS recall applies to my '14 CTD 3500 too.
