Did you ever get this figured out and fixed to your liking?

Na man havn't gotten around to it unfortunately. Waiting to sell my old rims and tires so I can use some of that money to buy 3" lift blocks and extended bilstein 5100s for the rear to replace my 4" lift blocks and cheap rough country shocks.

Na, it's still kinda bad. I think my wheels being out of balance may have a lot to do with the bouncing around. I'm getting them rebalanced tomorrow so I'll see where it goes from there.

I'm still planning on dropping the front bilsteins to 0, reducing the rear blocks to 3" and upgrading the rear shocks to bilsteins.

That should definitely do it.. you could always leave a little lift from the Bilstein and see what happens

I have a 2008 with the pro comp 6 inch suspension and the 5100s up front maxed out and mine rides pretty good. In the back i have a 3 inch block with a shackle lift. So it may be your wheel and tire setup. Do you think you could fit 37s if you had a 10 inch wide wheel? Just curious because I plan on running a 37 12.50 and im wondering if they will fit

I have a feeling it may be the wheels and tires as well. I think a 37 on a 10" wide wheel would fit with the Bilsteins maxed out. Maybe minor rub.

It must be your wheel and tire combo. I got the 6" RCX and bilstein 5100's(at the stock setting) and it rides awesome. I'm on 35" tires and 18" wheels

Woops, never updated this thread.

Ended up going back to my friends tire shop to balance and rotate everything. We rigged his tire balancer to fit my wide setup. All four wheels balanced until 0.00 showed up on the meter which is perfect. I had them lower my psi to 32 from 40psi as well.

That night I drove about 50 miles round trip. No more rear end shaking at 70mph and no more steering wheel shimmy at 25mph. It might be in my head, but I think it rides slightly smoother with the lower psi although still a lot stiffer than without the lift.

I have my front end maxed out with the bilstein 5100s which I believe is the main issue in my ride quality, no suspension flex. Im planning on dropping down two settings on the front and switching to a 3" block in the rear as well as changing out the cheap rear rough country shocks to Bilstein 5100s.

I think the big difference between your ride and mine would be that you have a taller sidewall on your tires and your bilsteins are set at stock height allowing for some suspension flex as opposed to mine being maxed out. You mind posting a pic of your truck from the side? I need to get an idea of what it looks like when I lower the front.

Yea the sidewall probably contributed to why mine rides good that's why I said your wheel and tire combination.. And lowering your psi will help make it ride better since it'll allow your sidewalk to give more but it'll hurt how well it wears and your gas mileage cause it'll take more to get the truck to roll.. This is the only picture I have from the side since I put them on a month or so ago.. It sits perfectly level on the lowest setting.

Looks great, thanks for the picture.

Yea I'm aware of the downside to driving with low psi, but with it getting driven 200-300 miles a month, I doubt I'll see anything negative anytime soon lol. My mileage is about 9mpg, so I ain't worried about going lower, gotta pay to play I always say.

Thanks bud. Lol yea guess ya won't see much of a difference with only drivin it that much.. Mines my daily driver and even if it wasn't I still couldn't let it sit without driving it everyday lol. You need to do a few performance mods to get those mpg's up lol damn I get 15-16 mpg's around town
