Ok I'm wanting to know if there's a certain kind of redline 5w30 oil and do I need any special additives with the oil? Also what kind of oil filter is best and where is cheapest to get the redline oil from? I drive a 2007 dodge ram 1500 quad cab with the 5.7 hemi. Thank you for any help

The prices change - I've seen the 12 qts for 125.

With that 2nd gen Hemi you don't really need to run Redline unless you just want too. Cam/lifter problems are almost non-existent with 2003-08 Hemi's. Dropped valve seats(extremely rare) and of course exhaust manifold bolts are that generations problems and of course oil will have no bearing on those two things. Any decent OTC 5W20/5W30 will do just fine. Second gen Hemi's do seem to be a little more sensitive to octane though so I would run the recommended 89 octane.
