Local dealer told my neighbour across the street he needs a new PCM for his 2013.
I told him i'd look into getting him a refurbished one,looking for reconmendations on who you guys have had good luck with,on getting a refurbished PCM from,as there is a few outfits selling them.

They don't show a used or refurbished PCM for a 13,at least not that i can find on their site.
But then again,i've never had much luck finding anything on their site,i usually get pissed off first,lol
I'm actually hoping a few guys who've bought refurbished PCMs with their VINs already programmed into the pcm,would respond with who they'd bought through and had good luck with.
I'd preferably want one that already has his VIN programmed into it,so it's just a plug-n-play swap that doesn't need a trip to a dealer to have programmed to his truck,or having to hunt up somebody with Jscan or Alpha-OBD to programm it to his truck.
I'll be lucky if i get a box of Timbits for this,so it's got to be a direct swap,lol

Yup, I poked around and hope to never search for anything again at that location.
It's almost as bad as Walmart, with 50,000 hits for any item all mixed together.

I had the computer replaced on my 2016 PW with a Mopar unit. It was refurbished. I used Circuit Board Medics on an Escape I had years ago and had no problems. Be very careful with the levers on the wire harness connectors, they break very easily. The locking tabs on the PW connectors broke but I was able to get new uppers on the connectors.

A ground down kitchen buttar knife slide into the locking mechanism after you've blown them out with compressed air helps to work the connectors out without breaking the tabs.
The guy in the video turned me onto that trick several years ago,and it works.
