To the original poster, and I know this is a little bit of a dated thread, but we all get to these projects at different times. Thank you for all this info as I have used it extensively for our project! Have been in the process of regearing to 4.56 in my sons 2013. Did the rear myself and got an 06 diff on eBay which I let a place in town do the gears. Got the one bracket on eBay and ordered the others for the diff drop from BDS (again, thanks) come to find out after getting the old diff out that we couldn’t get the new one in without taking both crossmembers, knuckles, lower arms and all off in one piece. No biggie but then couldn’t get it back on cause it hit the diff. It’s from a pro-comp lift kit which was built very robust compared to others I’ve seen so it didn’t bother me to take it to work and machine clearance to make it fit. Gonna make my own spacer/adapter out of the one we already have to avoid buying a driveshaft but my question is.. how did you manage to not mention getting the older cv axles with this diff being wider and the older axles being shorter to make up for it? Also the retaining rings on the output splines are in different places which seems to necessitate buying the older cv axles.
