Have a 13 Ram Express with regular stock radio. No Bluetooth, backup camera or anything. Any suggestions out there for replacements? Would like to add back up camera also. Suggestions on those also? Thanks everyone

You can can upgrade to any factory radio you want from an RA2, RA3 or RA4 the RA3 and RA4 would be much more of an undertaking and more expensive since your truck has a 4 speed fan. There are posts on it in the 4th gen D.Y.I section on the forum. The full RA4 conversion with Nav and conversion harness would be around 900.00 I would recomend the RA2 it is completely plug and play and compatible with your truck Can Bus system. You can do the whole thing for around 350.00 without the backup camera. People have been able to install the factory backup camera and get it to work.as well. There are also posts on it. To do the RA2 conversion you will need

Radio....50.00 to 75.00 wrecking yard or e bay

Mirror.....50 to 75.00 wrecking yard or e bay

Header harness for mirror....25.00 dealer

V/R button...replaces button on the left side of your steering wheel for voice command.....50.00 dealer...I think there is a harness needed for this as well that just plugs in as well for around 12.00 but not positive on that but simple to do.

Steering wheel audio controls...optional. these are located on the back of your steering wheel to control your radio remotely......120.00 for the install kit from allmoparpats.com. you can actualy get the harness and the V/R button from them as well. They are supporting member on the forum. You can find the mirror and radio on e bay or Car-Part.com there are posts in the D.Y.I section with all of the part numbers you will need. I have the part numbers as well but I am at work. This system works great. My truck came with it and I upgraded to the RA4 with Nav. If you decide to go this way and can't find the part numbers let me know and when I get home I will look them up for you. Rember this will work.in your truck exactly like it woukd if it came in the truck.

I couldn't agree with Ricks Ram more !
My 2014 came with the standard radio just like yours . It's an RA1 3.0" Non touchscreen.
I upgraded to the RA2 5.0 " Touchscreen radio ( 100% plug n play )
I also installed the OEM mirror with microphones & harness also 100% plug n play! The connector for the mirror is already in your truck behind the passenger a/c vent .
The VR/Phone button on the steering wheel is optional because the touchscreen allows you to answer calls by touch .

The audio controls are optional as well because volume , channel , AM/FM, CD and SIRIUSXM all are changeable via knob and on screen options .

With the above said the VR/Phone buttons and audio controls for me are a must have ! I really like them ! Nice thing is you don't have to invest all parts at once . Your option .
I actually purchased a diff steering wheel off eBay with all the controls on it for cheeper than I could upgrade my sterring wheel with the controls and it's easy to swap and 100% plug n play !
(My opinion )the RA2 5.0 Install , mirror with microphones and steering wheel is a fantastic set up giving you hands free Bluetooth calling and texting , music streaming , 911 / Roadside assistance with a connected phone at a touch of the button , some on screen options you don't have on your Evic controls and backup cam capable and more ++ .On 1-10 scale DIY I say a 2 very easy install !

I also installed the OEM Back Up Cam Kit as well . This is a fantastic unit ! Cost about $260.00 and a 3-4 on the DIY scale . This kit requires 2 wire splices ( I recommend soldering them ) and the rest is plug n play . This kit is made for your truck with the factory camera capable radios as Ricks Ram mentioned above " RA2 , RA3 , RA4 " The OEM BU camera kit works flawlessly , has a great high quality wide angle camera and displays active Grid lines that turn with your steering wheel, cheeper RCA cabled kits do not .
The OEM Kit does require a dealer electronically Flashed in sales code( XAC ) to activate it . The code XAC can be flashed in before or after the kit install and most dealers charge 1/2 Labor for the 9 minute flashing procedure . I got mine flashed for free @ my dealer all dealers.are different.

Hope this helps Sir !

Pics below of what the RA2 5.0 Touchscreen Bluetooth radio looks like and a few of its capabilities .

And compass ! This requires an overhead console with compass module &harness install (I haven't done this yet )

Thanks R.L.K. I was hoping you would see the post and chime in. I knew you had done the conversion. I don't have any pictures of my RA2 before I changed it. Not to highjack the thread but did you see the post (Rearview camera dealer add on)) or or something close to that? Apparently the O.P. took his truck with his RA4 conversion to the dealer to have his backup cam installed and they can't get it to work. It seems like they are kinda lost and missing something. My truck came with the backup cam so I didn't have to do that upgrade. Maybe you could give him some pointers on what he should look for. They are saying it's because of the RA4 which is B.S. because mine works fine with my RA4. I bet they missed one of the splices.

I have not seen that !
Can you post the link ? I'll chime in for sure ...
Or just tell me where it is at , ie 4th Gen tech /DIY /Audio and electronics .a DATE of the post will help ! I only use my phone on Tapatalk. ..
.
You get the picture ..

The OEM BU Cam kit is very easy to install ; however, I've seen capable members here and dealer techs FAIL at this ..
I'm am a mechanic by trade . Not auto industry but kinda close .

My install went pretty quick with only a couple delays , all n all it was pretty simple ...
I'd help anyone via PM if they had issues installing the OEM Back up cam add on kit or the upgrade to the RA2 ...

.

Some dealers are clueless some are alright few are good and fewer are great !
