Remote start only starts with hood open . Please help

need more info.. factory remote start or aftermarket.. Usually remote starts are not suppose to work with the hood open, so if someone is working o the engine it cannot be started accidentally.

Had it been working correctly and just started acting up? New aftermarket install or factory? Need more information to better assist you with this issue.
