Hello all! Picked up my 2015 truck a week ago and noticed that the inside of the plastic cover over that protects the speedometer/odometer (gauge cluster?) has some water spots. I am guessing whoever detailed the car prior to sale sprayed directly onto the plastic cover and the liquid managed to seep through to the other side.

How difficult is it to open this up? Is it possible? Or is the gauge cluster completely sealed? Will load pics shortly.

Thanks!

It's easy. You'll need a T20 screw driver to remove the cluster (4 screws in top) and a 7mm socket once you've removed the bezel. Here's a video that should help you get it out.

Once out, there is a series of clips (10 or more) around the perimeter on the black bezel glued to the lens you'll need to undue. They like to click back into place as you work your way around so try to keep enough tension on the clips you have undone to avoid this.

Honestly, I'm surprised it has anything on the inside. It's sealed up pretty tight.
