Has this been done successfully? I plan to return my truck to as close to stock as I can since Ive grown weary of having such a high truck. I did the install my self and have all the stock pieces as well. The main thing Im worried about is the cross members that were cut. Thanks for any help.

Why are you weary of a tall truck?

Wow it's a 2014 and you're tired of it already ? On my 2011 I feel as if I'm getting to know it all over again lol.

Being someone that never keeps a vehicle longer than 3-4 years, I hear ya.
After smashing my steps on rocks in Sedona, I'm re-thinking a Rubicon.

You should just be able to weld back the cut off piece of the cross member.

If you're wanting to trade it in/sell, find the right buyer/dealer and you'll get more back from it than if you would w/o a lift. Didn't you just buy 37s too? It looks killer as it is now IMO, just be sure you won't want to lift it again after you take it off.

I have been re-assigned to a different county and my shop that I do all the work to my vehicles is over 2 hours away. This county is pretty rural and there is not really any reputable shop within an hours drive. If I were closer to my own shop I would probably keep it this way. Truck has been on the market for a over a month and have had some interest but just young kids wanting me to finance it for them. I know a couple of months ago there was a member selling the same lift he took off his truck. Cant remember his name or find the thread.

its a five inch rear. Sorry i have been working nights and havent got around to the forum. Missing some stock parts so it looks like it will have to stay on the truck when i trade it in.
