Replacement intake manifold

Hey all. My 07 5.7L keeps throwing egr codes. I've replace it twice and I keep getting various codes. I'm thinking the intake may be plugged up. Has anyone used the dorman replacement? If so did u notice any HP gains. I've been told the replacement adds HP. not sure if I'm believing that, so I'm curious as to what others have experienced. Thank you in advance

Did you check to make sure your egr tube isn’t plugged? Don’t know about Forman intake.

Did you clean out the tube and replace the gasket at the manifold end? The Dorman is based on a stock manifold, I don't see how it would increase power. Never even heard that, where did you hear that?
