I can get matchboxes..

And the output isn't the greatest, but they are the only ones that fit without cutting in a 2013 fog.

I agree... the stock lighting is pretty horrible. I've had HIDs in there since I bought the truck, but with the projectors, it really cleans up the light output.

I am excited for the foglights now.

Hey man, from experience... just buy a quality set of HIDs (ie Morimoto) and be done with it. You will spend less in the long run.

The projectors I installed use an H1 bulb FYI. JJ at Retro Shop can set you up with whatever you need.

Exactly.. 2013 strikes again. :(

JJ.. What do the matchboxes run?

120 shipped, I have a few on order - they are on backorder at the moment.

Funny you say that. ... I was thinking about that exact same thing. Color matched to gray.....

What is that paint that is almost an exact match to mineral gray??

Man, I'm a member of another forum, but just signed up for this one tonight. I've gotta say I LOVE YOUR TRUCK! I've actually got one a lot like it!

And on the fog light issue, I really like the black in the gray bumper!

By the way, got a link to a thread with more pics of your truck??

When painting these headlight assemblies, do you just rough up the chrome with a Scotch Brite pad, or do you use something to remove the chrome?

That awkward moment when a thread dies just as you were about to get some helpful information....

I just scuffed the bezels and used adhesion promoter
I have heard soaking them in bleach will remove the chrome

Bleach works! If you're going for gloss black, it works REALLY WELL, because that's what's under the chrome. But you have to be stupid careful with it.
