Rev limited delete

Tune will do it,but you might also be able to do it with a Tazor,i don't know if you can up the limiter with AlphaOBD,but you could ask in one of the AlphaOBD threads

I guess that would be it, not specifically the rev limiter (old hot rod talk). Where do I get the AlphaODB program?

Find one of the AlphaOBD threads and ask the guys that have used it to up the limiter,they'll also know where and what you need to buy it.
There's several big threads on it in the 4th Gen section

My 5.7 shifts at 6600 been doing it pretty well since it was new,has over 600 nitrous dragstrip passes on it,and 80,000 clics on it,and by no stretch does it live an easy life. There's guys running them upwards of 7,000 rpm on stock rods/pistons with big cams and no issues. They work good with shift points at 6,000 to 6100 rpm with the stock cam,and will live all day long at that rpm.

I have spent many hours messing with Alfa and some things it just won't let you do. Things like cooling fan settings and speed limiter might show up but I have not seen any reports of it actually working.

If you want to dig into it though, on the app store on your phone you can download the free version. It shows all of the same functions the paid version does but you just can't make any changes to the truck. Good starting point for anyone interested in messing with AlfaOBD.

A word of caution though... Please read the mega-thread before you make any changes. It is very easy to make an irreversible mistake in Alfa and make your truck undriveable. I made a mistake on a buddies truck that luckily I was able to fix, I made the alarm to go off non stop. Had to pull the horn fuse so it would shut up so I could fix it haha.
