Going through Alfaobd, looking around at all the options. How can I find out what version of Wireless Control Module(WCM) i have. It offers two options.

Wireless Control Module(WCM)
MY2011-2012 non-PowerNet Var.1

Wireless Control Module(WCM)
MY2011-2012 non-PowerNet Var.2

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Hemi Quad cab ST 4x4
Upgraded EVIC
MyGig 430N RHB radio
AmeriLite LED Plank Bar Black headlights
(Just started upgrading. I prefer factory look(mostly). Not sure if any of that makes a difference?)

I honestly can’t say that I know the difference but I think when I use AlfaOBD I go with var.2 but it might also depend on what you’re trying to adjust as to which 1 you use. Hopefully someone else with more experience with AlfaOBD chimes in shortly as I think I’ve used both at some point but it has been a while since I used it as well.

Just choose var 2. It’s going to automatically connect to what you have anyway.
