Is your truck throwing a code for this, or just something you have noticed recently? With you being a 2012, I would drop it off overnight at the dealership, and let them start it up in the morning to see what you are talking about. Your truck is new, so take advantage of your warranty while you can.

My truck rattles and shakes on start up - but it's supposed to...

I remember my 2010 Hemi 1500 ran rough on cold idle. I think it's normal, but still worth taking to the dealership for a look-over.

Depending on how rough it is. On start, the engine and O2 sensors have to warm up to achieve the required fuel/air ratio... so it would naturally be a little rough.

The engine operates on an open loop until the O2 sensors heat up and can operate correctly, letting the engine monitor itself and enter a closed loop.

Might just be normal... have to see what it was doing/sounded like.

thankyou for ur comments! i dont think its 02 sensor they were plenty warm about 1\4 way on the gauge and i dont really think its fair to call it rough it just has a slight shake every seconds like just one cyl didn't fire right once the temp gauge is close to half it never skips a beat real smooth idle like i said eariler smooth as glass

Yep mine is a 09 she shakes pretty good in the mornings.... It could also be due to the factory setting these motors up a little fat and having it trying to clean it self out in the mornings and not being warm.
