RPM Bounce 2013 Dodge Ram 1500

If I take my foot off the gas pedal and let the truck coast, rpm bounce will occur at about 1,000. Truck will “settle in” at 1,000 and continue moving as long a brake pedal is not pressed. Any ideas about the cause would be appropriated.

Mine bounces as it downshifts,then slows some more then downshifts and bounces again. But it does continue to slow.
