Noticed lately in the cold weather that it’s running hot. It’s normally around 95, but will get upto 110-125. The fan will continuously run for over 10-20 mins, then decide to cool down. Anyone else experiencing this. Any thing to worry about?.

2011 Hemi; I'd change the thermostat and coolant. How many miles on it? When was the last coolant service?

I second the thermostat. Fluid change cant hurt either.

First, what are you talking about? And those temps aren't hot, must be misprint.

Even at that what is he talking about, oil, tranny, coolant? If it is coolant or tranny (2011 6 speed), then I'd say it is high, if not then it's normal if it's just oil.

2011 HOAT way over due if not serviced yet.

Could be the mix is off, too much coolant. Could be crud in the system, rmi 25 time.

He's in Canada so I figured he was using Celsius. Running 257F in Canadian cold is way to high.
OP are you towing when you see those high temps?

Sounds like centigrade read outs. 95 would be right at 203 and 125 would be something like 260. Sounds like a bad stat or some major cloggage to me. I would swap the stat and flush the cooling system.

If it's crud or goo the problem is coolants don't have detergents. So unlike engine oil that when you change it cleans the system, changing coolant does nothing to dislodge crud. If the 2011 never had a HOAT replacement with high mileage, I'd say it could be the issue. And yeah 260f is way too high. Sorry OP forgive my Americaness.

It’s got 220929 km

I’ve bought it new, it’s the original thermostat.....

Yes I’ve noticed it when towing my 16ft enclosed trailer.

That's what emulsifiers are for and a few good straight water flushes. Short of ripping the system apart if it is crud that's about all you can do.
