Sales code flash

I've got an appointment for the airbag recalls R 23,36,47.i think.
My favorite dealer service writer says no problem on adding sales codes , his words " if it's on your vin list of options we will do it "

With that said , I do have a few things to add . I'm asking for help on the codes .

I want the compass is it CV2 or CUN ?

Puddle lights and blinkers LEB ?

I'm gonna get RA4 just for kicks , don't think it does anything ...

Probably not on my list but JFJ for compass & temp to display in cluster and RA4 radio

I want a cargo cam code = ??

Lastly is there a factory option for a front cam ? If so what's the code ? I belive this requires a Jailbreak?

I'm open to suggestions on codes not on my list !

As stated the blinker puddle codes are LEB and LEC. The overhead console is CV2. When we did my friend's truck activating this code made the compass work in the RA2 radio and also the Homelink showed up in his EVIC. My truck is a 14 Express that came with the RA2. My compass heading shows up in my RA4 as well as the clock and temp without adding any additional codes which means my truck already has the JFJ code. I would assume the JFJ code might be available in your VIN list as well because it is an available option on our trucks. I believe your truck came with the RA1 would at least install the RA2 or RA4 code in your truck this will put all of your settings in the radio instead of your EVIC it is much more user friendly in my opinion. Also the CUN code might help bring up the compass I can't remember if we did that one or not.

I called the service writer today , I forgot to ask the $charge for codes to my suprize he said no charge it only takes a few minutes! Awesome these guys are Great !
I'm gonna request the following for now and future installs :
RA4. - VP4 Radio
LEC. - Puddle lights mirrors
LEB. - blinker mirrors
JFJ. - Compass & temp in cluster & radio
CV2 & CUN - Compass / O/H Console


Anyone know what the cargo cam code is ?

Keep us posted on your sales codes. My dealer did not charge me either for adding sales codes but he could not add the JFJ cause it wasn't on my list of options. That sucks..... But he said he was going to talk to chryslers sales rep.

XBM - Remote Start
LEC - Puddle Lights
LEB - Blinker Mirrors
XAC - Backup Camera

I already have compass and temp show up on my cluster. I think the sales code for the backup camera is the same whether you have the 3rd light option or the tailgate handle.

Hmm , interesting on the XAC code , I've already installed the backup cam and XAC , The back up cam wires into sockets 31 , 32 ,33 of the Radios Main C-1 connector , since the 3rd break light cargo cam wires into sockets 21 , 22 ,23 I'd think it would require a diff code ? And a different means of activation like a selection on the radio ?

See if he can do RA4 (8.4an), RFL (8.4 touchscreen), RSW (unconnect via mobile) and RJ4 (8.4an).

I havent had time to get to with my friend at the dealer yet to try those.

from my understanding when trucks come with both cargo and back up cam the back up is usually in the mirror and not the screen. i dont believe there is a way to switch between the two.

The tailgate comes on when going into reverse. The cargo cam is toggled by a button on the 8.4 screen. May still be possible.

It's hard for me to say though. The instructions I used didn't say to do it a certain way if I had a video mirror or RA4. When did the mirror video stop?

The 16s are this way " factory installed "
Only way I'm aware of to get both on the screen is with a Jailbreak type conversion harness with a modified software .

Does anyone know if a non factory installed RA48.4AN upgraded radio requires a sales code Flash for the CHMSL Cargo Cam to operate ?
Is there an OEM kit available for cargo cam ?

Just heard back from my FAVORITE RAM DEALER , my truck is done all recalls complete and the following sales codes flashed in :
RA4. -VP4 RADIO
LEB. -MIRROR BLINKERS
LEC. -MIRROR PUDDLE LIGHTS
CV2. - COMPASS

JFJ was not on my vin# options list , I was kinda expecting this .

Oddly though CUN for overhead console was also not on my options list ? I guess some trucks that have compass do not have the overhead , I've heard of this ... oh well I'm happy because I do not plan on installing the o/H console anyway , just the compass module and harness

Does anyone know where the factory location would be for the compass module if it's not in the overhead console?
