My 2019 Classic has been flawless. I love the truck and really like my dealer. This week I have cruise set on 70 mph and we (4 of us) start up a long steep bridge. Cruise adapts, downshifts and engine revs high. Cresting the bridge, the cruise does not re-adjust, engine still revving high and accelerating down the bridge. I hit brakes and it does not disengage. I tap and release accelerator pedal, nothing changes. We hit 85 going downhill until I brake hard and turn off cruise manually. During the excitement, the cluster flashes "Throttle --- something" message. It happened so fast with so much going on I did not remember the exact words. Trucks slows, the message disappears, but a lighting bolt symbol stays displayed.
Next morning, truck starts normally, symbol is gone. I dropped it off at the dealer today. I will update once I hear something. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Unintentional acceleration is not something to ignore. Probably just software but we will see.
