Installed power heated tow mirrors today. Replacing the little sport power heated mirrors.
The IOD fuse blows when I adjust them ? Fuse is fine when I hit the defrost switch.
Any thoughts ?

maybe a connection somewhere in the door? or a loose connection

at least now you have it narrowed down to one problem

could try them on my truck to see if its mirror side or truck side problem. :) and then oh no they won't come off lol

Short in the wires in the mirror for when you're adjusting? Does it do it with both sides or just one?

Same exact thing happened to my brother 02...we have still yet to find the pinched/fraid wire.

Were was the pinched wire at? We've checked all of the connections and mirrors and everything is good
