Searching for a part

The latch rod that hides behind the grill enabling the hood to be opened runs through a guide assembly. I need both the rod (must be for a sport model-slightly longer) which I can get at a reasonable price, and the guide assembly(not specific to sport), which for reasons beyond me, is extremely overpriced.
GUIDE. Hood Safety. DODGE RAM 1500 (1997 - 2008) # 55275133AB It is part #21 in the diagram and I just can't see spending $55 on it (lmc wants $75). Used is perfectly acceptable, just have not been able to locate one near me. I would gladly pay shipping if someone can track down the part for a more reasonable price. Thanks y'all
