Just drove 200 miles, Seattle to Portland. 65 in the 60. 70 in the 70. Mostly ACC control. No hard acceleration. Got 16.6mpg.

2022 1500 Limited, eTorque, 3.92.

I feel like it should have gotten better. Closer to 20. Anyone else have experience with this drive in a like truck?
It's the 3.92 gears. I have a Laramie but with the 3.21 gears eTorque and it gets 20ish in flat country. 18-19 in the hills. Mine is 2wd. No problem pulling anything including 60hp tractor and implements. The only way to go.

2021 crew cab limited 3.92; traveled from Springfield,Il to Clearwater fl. always 5-8 mph over speed limit. the truck got 20.2 mpg. on regular gas. the truck had 6,000 miles on it at the time of departure. as u might imagine , i was totally surprised and completely satisfied for that performance. my Silverado never got over 18 mpg on the same trip.

Well your headed up hill I am sure it will be worse. Check your air pressure in your tires that will effect you almost 1mpg.
Going north does not equate to up hill. In fact, Portland and Seattle are about the same elevation.
I have driven that stretch, in the summer, and keeping the speed down got between 20 and 25. Two wheel drive and stock 20's though.

On the way south I stuck to the speed limit (60 or 70) rather well and got 16.7. On the way north I decided to press it on the speed. 5-10 over the whole way (except Centralia!), 16.6.

I have no way to account for wind differences but I thought they was interesting.

CA is the source. Remember when Tom McCall was governor of OR and told Californicans to come for a visit, but don't stay. They didn't listen, and are now backed up all the way into Vancouver BC..

Wow. This thread went off the rails!

Apologize for that. My 2014 hemi got 16mpg with radials went to a 35in all terrain and got 14.5mpg. winter fuel was down to 13.5 and if i ran low air pressure down to 12.5ish. i do know once your motor gets some more break in miles it should pick up a bit. I do know that drive and sometimes you slow down to 45 then back up to 70 over and over again. that could play a big factory on your MPG
