Hello Mopar Family,
It’s been awhile, however I have searched the forum and haven’t really got an answer to what I’m seeking.
What temps is everyone running after doing the 180 stat/V6 E-fan swap?
Right now on my Trinity T2 tuner the (3) three settings (AC off high, low, AC On) are at 215.6. I have Hemifever who tuned for the 180 stat, however just installed my V6 Fan yesterday. What are the ballpark temps of the fans set at?

Oh, thanks for the reply Rick. I got ahold of Brandon and he gave me AC on 175
AC off low 175 and AC off high 180 temps. I have those set right in in the truck. If it doesn’t go well with those temps, I’ll try your suggestion. I haven’t gotten out to drive it yet.

Those are too low for a 180 t-stat Lyle, the fan will run constantly even going down the road on a cool day. Try them out,but i think your fan will run pretty well constantly.

Those temps sound low it me. I did the E fan in my 11 Bighorn with the stock thermostat and the temp would stay right around 205ish. If I was idling in traffic for long periods of time it may get up to about 215/220 but never got higher than that. I never had to adjust or program anything. I live iin New England so we get the entire gambit of weather from the heat and humidity to below zero and I never had any issues with heat or A/C. My buddy found out I did the E fan and he wanted me to to it to his Ram as well. I did his the exact same as mine

Sorry forgot to ask, what would the AC on/AC-Off high/AC-On low be set to with the numbers you provided Rick?

Well was told by Sean that he already set the temps for the 180 stat and I don’t need to change anything for E-Fan. He said the e-fan will compliment the 180 well. I noticed the temps were set to 215.6 across the board when I look at them.

That's a little high for a 180 Lyle.Most tuners usually set the fan temps about 195/196 with a 180 t-stat

Rick is right as usual.............all the tuners I talked to say efan settings should be set 10-12 degrees over the 180 thermostat........a 180 opens at 185 so 10-12 over that would be 195-197

That's why I'm at 196.......right down the middle........LoL
