Service 4x4

I recently changed the brakes and rotors to my truck. Lets just say it was long over due. A few days later my ABS, stability control and a service 4x4 message turned on and I am wondering what does it mean? Is it something simple like when I get a message to change my oil? Or is it something much worse? Can anyone help shine some light on this matter I have never had this issue before.

You might of knocked loose an abs/speed sensor wire when changing your brakes maybe.

Yeah if you feel like it at slow speeds slam the brakes, if it skids you messed up the anti lock brakes, if not you are good, it is just a light.

A lot of times that 4x4 service light will go away on it's own.

There will be codes in the system. Get them read with a proper scan tool and go from there.
