Looking to replace the rough country shocks on my 2015 express. Ever since I put them on I noticed the ass end wants to dance around when i hit bumps.

I am looking at the bilstein and fox shocks. I guess I am looking for something stiffer.

I also installed the progressive rate springs.

Which springs?
How much lift?

Would the Hellwig rear sway bar upgrade help you?

I upgraded my sway bar to the Hellwig and I could tell immediately that the rear end behaves better. Highly recommend.

As for shocks, I added Bilstein's all the way around when I leveled my truck last year and feel like the ride is a bit stiffer than stock, but much better at the same time. Went with adjustable up front and standard in the rear.

thank you guys for the replies and info. I am gonna look into that sway bar.

between Fox and Bilstein which is better bang for the buck. Or maybe I should try and do the sway bar before putting new shocks on again.

Do you happen to have the part number of the swap bar?

7709 is the part number for stock ride height. If you have a 2-4" lift then you'll want the 7883 kit.

I recommend doing the sway bar regardless whether you upgrade shocks or not. It really calmed down the rear end on my truck.

As far as shocks, the bils will be less expensive, but Fox shocks are probably a little higher end. I have 5100 Bils and am very happy with them. I am a road warrior though. If you do any kind of off road driving, maybe Bils 6112 or Fox, or even Ikon would be a better solution.

I see a lot of guys are recommending the rear sway bar. I'll throw my suggestion in that if you wanted to save some money just get Core 4x4 sway bar endlinks. They are so beefy I can't justify spending another $200 on a bar when the links provided so much stability. You can see them in red on my truck but they offer just about any color you could want.
