I own a 99 ram 1500 4x4 and it is in desperate need to new shocks. At the same time i want to get a 2.5" leveling kit Just spacers for the front. Do i need blocks in the rear? Anyways For shocks i found the N2.0 premium shocks. people seem to like them. I am by no means a heavy offroader but i do just drive around local trails. Just wondering would these shocks be any good. They are about the same price as OEM shocks but will they have a better ride. If those aren't any good could you point out some other shocks that are within a 50-60 dolor range max. thanks

Personally, I'd try and find some lift shocks that are rated for a 3 in lift. 2.5 inches on the stock length shocks is a bit much. Otherwise I'd recommend Monroe Gas-Magnums.

A 2.5" leveling kit is just that: it levels your truck. However, it might actually put your truck nose high if the rear springs are sagged. If that's the case you can put in an add-a-leaf lift for the rear to bring it back up.

+1 on Dodge dudes post, though I'll recommend Bilstiens :D
