Just a quick question for you guys (to avoid opening another thread), how do you think black rims would look on my truck, as opposed to chrome rims?

I think putting black rims on your truck would make it look way better! It would give it more of a mean look to it.

Ok honest opinion, how do you think my silver 2002 1500 2wd would look if I powdercoated my stock chrome 17" wheels? It would just be until i could afford to upgrade to better tires and wheels down the road

Very easy to do and can be purchased at Home Depot....lol
simply take your wheel off your truck (some do it on) and mask the tire (some use cards) and spray away.
Light initial coats and then gradually thicken them

Or just armor all the tire then spray tire and rim then run a tooth pick around the rim bead and it practically falls off your tire

Haha alright. Would you guys recommend that i take the tires off the truck to do it or could i save some time by keeping them on?

And here is a thread that has pictures of the same exact truck I have, photo-shopped to make it look like the stock wheels were plasti dipped. Please give me your opinion if I should do it or keep the chrome stock wheels the way they are.

Its easier off the truck as there is less masking (truck, lugs, etc) but some do it on.
Its personal preference.
Me personally, I would take it off

Ok thank you. Would you keep the lugs chrome or spray those too? And could you also take a quick peek at that thread I put up and let me know what you think?

Dont spray the lugs. When you torque them in, they will peel off
