Am thinking of ordering some side steps with my lift , but I dont want to lose lots of clearance also. the side steps are for my wife as am going 4 or 6 inch soon. :naughty:
SO am asking what are the best side steps for offroaind
1 . I dont want them to be so low .
2 . I dont want them to be scratch easily .
power steps are way to expensive for me so its not an option:killer:
thank you wishing you all a nice day.

First of all..... 6" lift >>>>>>>>>>>> 4" lift.

Since you want something that's durable and won't scratch easily, I'd recommend getting whatever you buy hit with linex. By the time you add the cost to do that with the steps, you'll be on your way to the price of power boards. I'm in the same boat as you, that's a LOT of money to put down on steps but I've heard nothing but good things about them. When steps go on my truck eventually, that's what I'll be getting.

Also, if you're not aware, Best Top makes power boards. They are usually a little cheaper than the AMP Research steps. You get a better warranty with AMP though (5yr vs. 3 yr).

I'd say wait a little longer and get what you know you'll be happy with. That's my thinking at least.

After seeing this pic I'm sold on them. :********:
