I'm picking up a light vibration in the fuel pedal at 2000 rpm...mainly under acceleration. It isn't horrible but it is noticeable. It feels like a light buzz like an electric razor! It clears up as speed and rpm increases. It almost feels like a resonation from the engine but I'm not sure. I mentioned it to the dealer and they said it is normal and comes from the MDS system kicking in and out. He said they all do this so I wanted to do a poll to see if this is the case.

Yes, one of the first things I noticed when I bought my 2010 in September 2013. Drove me nuts and searched all over looking for an answer.

Funny thing is... it's either stopped or I don't notice it any more for some reason.

Yeah, mine does it right around 30

There's a big thread about it on the other forum.. Dont think there was a fix.

Mine doesn't do it either. From what I have heard it is a 9-12 issue mysteriously solved in 13.

Mild vibration from 25-30mph. I attributed it to the MDS tho. Doesn't appear to happen if I manually put it in a gear. 2011 1500 5.7L

My 2010 1500 sport does. Comes and goes and can't tell why. Just traded up for a 2014 1500 Sport CC so I'm hoping it's not an issue on the new. Will be swapping in 3-4 days.

Vibration

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I bought a 2014 CC1500 longhorn and I'm really happy with it but I do notice when I turn the truck on and put it on drive as I take off the gas pedal has a very light vibration two to be exact. It feels like if something was resetting. It does it evry time after I turn on the truck, while I'm driving it doesn't do it so that's why I think it's a resetting thing. Does anybody experience this ? Take care all

Sounds similar to problems many people had with torque converter issues in early 4gen vehicles... Buzz/grinding under acceleration between 1400-2000 rpms...just search on this forum and see if it sounds similar

Seem like what mine is doing! I tried tow/haul and it still does it. I also tried revving the motor up to 2000 rpm in park and no vibration. I bet it is the torque converter growling around the 2000rpm range. Is this something that needs fixed right away or can it wait a while?

In the above link, take a look at the responses from TransEngineer. He seems to imply that a certain amount of vibration can be expected between the Torque Clutch when engaging with the transmission.

http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=111361. My understanding is that a fix is not required. Issue is related to tolerances in the various parts of the TC; I'm not a mechanic and other more informed users my chime in.

Hmmm...sounds like the fix is worse than the problem! I still haven't seen many 2013's with this problem...most of the threads i have researched where earlier models.

Yeah, a TSB was issued i believe before 2012 model year, so you would think this would not be an issue for newer models
