Has anybody thought/done this type of injection on the 5.7 hemi. I am contemplating it just because I know it works so well on diesel trucks and they do make specific kits for gas vehicles as well. Any thoughts

I have an AIS system waiting to be installed, but for "boost" insurance.

These do wonders on forced induction applications but I thought their benefit was limited to that.

Yeah, you only need allky kit for boosted motors.. They really work well on turbo's.
It's to reduce knock so you can up your timing to make more power

I've tried it on my GTP but it's a pain to tune and I ran pig rich all the time. It did kill my KR though.

Snow makes a n/a setup. But I've heard unless you up the compression then its probably not worth the money. RedtruckVA has one of their kits on his n/a truck.

Water/**** is used for preventing detonation and cooling intake charge. There is much less gain on a N/A setup compared to a boosted application. There can still be some benefit by running the methanol injection on a N/A from the increase in combustible product in the chamber, however it's a LOT less compared to nitrous and requires just as much initial setup cost and about the same in running cost if you use it regularly.

As ATX said, it would be useful on a high compression engine but not much good on a stock block.
