What a great truck. I got 4800 for it. Didn't really want to sell it, but having 3 vehicles was a little more than I wanted to spend a month. Dealerships wanted nothing to do with it when I was looking for it's replacement. I ended up getting a 2014 hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee and love it. After 3 months I decided the truck had to go. Blue Book showed it at 7995 in fair condition. No interest in it till I came down to the 5000 range. All it needed was new tires.

Around here that would have gotten snatched up ASAP. This is Ram country and people around here have at least (2) in their driveways. For the dollar and what it affords you, it can’t be beat.

If you maintained it to the level a lot of forum members on here do I'd say someone bought a good truck for the money. Regular cab makes it less desirable for most, but as a second vehicle in a family that needs a truck occasionally or just for pure fun as the regular cab short boxes are much quicker it's a great choice.

For some of us reg cab short beds are all I have owned since 1970 and it has been many. I like to keep the horse power to weight ratio on the fun side . Wife has the 4dr family vehicles.

Looks nicer then my 2006 f150 extended cab I offloaded with 218k miles.

Wasn't perfect, but ZERO rust issues. That dent hurt my soul. A newly built driveway on RR right of way gave out and I slid down into a pole.
In last 40000 miles it had gotten a whole new front axle, brakes, all steering parts and alignment plus new Fox coil overs. Rear axle had also got new bearings. All told, I basically got the money I spent on it in the last year back.
