Theres a possible tranny swap goin on. From what I've heard, the tranny on the gen III hemi's is the weak point, espically if you'r puttin some ponys down to the road. I'm comming off a 99 mustang, and the one complaint I have from the swap is the automatic tranny. Has anybody swapped in like a T56 into their dodge? If this tranny goes, I would love a 5/6 speed; either one would be awesome. If anybody has done/heard of a swap like that on the rams, any input would be greatly appriciated. Yes, I'm aware tranny swaps are a pain in the ass, but if I'm gonna have to build it up anyway, why not put what I want in it?

You could bolt an nv5600 or nv3500 right to it, much easier swap

5600 is a 6 speed and a heavier duty trans used in 2500 and the 3500 is a 5 speed
