ok i went and bought my gloss white paint for my dodge today and i would like for yall to give me some tips on this so far im gonna,

*remove side windows, lights, mirrors, grill, door seals, door panels, door handles,
*tape off windows, door jams

*fully sand and block the truck


any more advice is greatly needed

painting is 90% prep, you do your prep right it'll turn out amazing. do multiple wet sanding coats, get the surface like glass, double and triple check every inch of the truck before your final coats.I've only done a couple big painting projects, but the going theme in all of 'em is prep prep prep. lots of sanding, and take your time every step along the way. but okie can probably help more

Go with two stage instead of single stage, it's more forgiving

Make sure you are laying it on even and not thick. Its easy to lay it on thick and looks great for a min till it saggs and there goes awhile sanding it back out.
