exactly .. the champions used to be what came from the factory

So I already ordered the NGk ones from eBay cause it was actually like $7 cheaper for the exact ones. But hope I didn’t make a mistake on choosing NGk over Champions.

10D2AEEA-ABEA-497E-AE82-29455F2D0632.jpeg Got new spark plugs installed today. He did a compression test and it was 150psi across the board. My Ram has 49.9k miles on it. Here’s a pic of the old plugs which to me they don’t look bad at all. The gaps range from .045-.047 and if I’m correct, I don’t see any real serious indication of really burned out plugs, oiled filled or cracked etc.

No mistake. I’ll never use champions. I’ve had nothing but problems with there plugs in the past on a stratus I used to own.

Putting copper ones back in May give slightly better power, but man it’s a pia to change these plugs. Especially since there are 16 of them! Mechanic shops around here wanted $300 to do it plus spark plug cost. Nope....but then again it’s not fun to do. The back of the engine ones were the worst.

My plugs looked a lot like yours. Maybe a bit darker....
