2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins diesel--Harmonic vibration damper bolted to the front end of the crankshaft has spark jumping to the edge of the oil pan. It's less than 1/4" between the two items and the spark is random, about 15-20 seconds apart while the engine is running at an idle. I'm thinking it might be needing a ground replaced somewhere. Any ideas would be appreciated. thank you, gregjo1948

Replaced the damper and the spark is gone.

You should probably clean Every ground you can find. If you doubled up on a couple it will not hurt anything. Imo you cannot over do it grounding things.
