I tried searching around the forum but didn't see anything on these (or my search function isn't working).

Has anyone heard of them and/or tried one?

Looks like they essentially work similar to the pedal commander, but currently is on sale for 1/3 of the price of the PC.

from my brief googles it looks like it does the same thing as a pedal commander, just cheaper.

I suppose we knew there would be cheaper alternatives to the PC at some point. Seems to have good reviews in the Jeep community.

Thanks Riccochet, yeah from what little I'm able to find online it seems to be doing ok..

I ordered one on a leap of faith, should be here for install this weekend. Guess we'll see how it does. Hopefully it's great and I can get this and a hellwig for the same price as the PC :)

I remember a thread on the other Ram forum where a guy bought one and tried it and seemed to like it. The thread was called Chinese 9 drive throttle controller or something close to that. Worth a try I guess since its so damn cheap.

Just a quick update on this. With all the restrictions going into place haven't got to drive a ton with the controller installed.

My first impression:
I haven't had a pedal commander, but based on how it is described all over these forums, this controller gives the same "sensation" and the truck is a lot more fun to drive now. It has 5 "modes" with 9 sensitivity levels for each mode. Cannot control it with your phone, use 3 buttons on the controller face (which I have mounted on the dash behind the turn signal) instead. The truck has much better throttle response and the butt dyno had good readings. The Mrs also let me know that I needed to slow the **** down, so must be working :).

Only issue I've encountered so far is that the truck didn't like being started in the "Eco" mode. It threw several throttle control errors and CELs and was idling really rough. Haven't been able to replicate this with any of the other 4 modes and Eco works if the truck is started while in one of the other modes and then switched.

Hellwig is supposed to be here tomorrow, so I got my 2 toys for the price of one (PC). On to the next way to burn my money.
