Water coming out of the leading edge of ovehead console near the window. It was pouring pretty hard not sure if its the window or maybe the sun roof.

Hate to do anything at the dealer in this town. I can feel my IQ lower each time i go to the dealer.

I just had this problem. Turned out to be the sunroof drain being clogged. They just blew air through it to clear the clog/restriction. Water would leak by my homelink buttons.

Thanks for the info. I was going to squirt water on the wind sheild edge without getting water near the sun roof and vice a versa see what happens.

But blowing out the drain sounds like a better first step.

Hopefully i can tell where the drain is.

I blew the drain hoses from bottom up. I could not see the upper holes if anything came out other than putting my hand up and feeling the air.

I have been experiencing water leakage both front and rear so severe it tripped by computer until it dried. On other forums I have read of clogged drain tubes. The crimped outlet being blamed for holding small debris.

The front drains exit below the A-pillar near the door hinges. The rear drains exit below the rear window inboard of the C-pillars. The recommendation is to clip the crimped nipple and manually clear the outlet, but the rears are inaccessible. The suggested resolution for the rear is removing the headliner and blowing from the top. Before you do, try cutting the rear crimped nipple with the paring knife used on the Thanksgiving turkey and ream the outlet with a properly bent wire hanger section.

Nothing in the service manual speaks of this system needing routine maintenance, but then again the manual is written for BA majors.

We had a couple downpours and water did not leak out from the overhead center console near the garage door opener buttons.

But today water came out of the driver pillar at the little screw cover

This is my second Ram my first one had paint problems that were terrible.

So in fact my own resolve was to trade it in and get a new RAM and incur more debt.

My Ford and Chevy guys make a big deal about Rams not being put together good, think I'm starting to believe them.

Overall hard to say I'm impressed with customer service down here in southern Georgia. Standards are definitely lower here, thus so are people's expectations.

I'd rather slam my hand in a car door then take my truck to the dealer.

I bought my truck in August only had the sunroof open a couple times.

Kind of figured the hose running through the pillar would be a sealed kind of deal. Water should not be inside the pillar.
