Can anyone confirm if the 4th gen 4wd bilstein B-Kt01-0000021 spring perches are the same diameter and are interchangeable with the oem ones that come on our shocks?

Would the bilstein perches fit eibach shocks?

I bought the KYB SM5580 spring seats and they were the same as OEM. I would guess that the Bilstein's are as well

Thank you but yes I’m looking for info on the lower ones.
Is there anyone who has bilstein 4600 or 5100 shocks that also has a set of calipers who could measure the shock body? That would be greatly appreciated

Actually, I have both. I'll get some numbers for you later today

5100s measure about 50.4mm/1.98" in diameter just below the spring perch.

Thanks very much for the quick measurements. That’s actually very promising, the same area on my 2014 oem tokico is 1.997” and if people are using the oem spring on the Bilstein shock perch I have to assume the geometry is very similar to the oem perch, which would be needed to assemble the Eibach spring and shock.
My concern is due to the fact b-kt01-0000021 description say’s they are designed for use only with Bilstein products… although, I can speculate why they’d have a disclaimer like that.
Perhaps I’ll order some soon to dig deeper and report back what I find.FD4B9411-5951-4605-841F-98EF3F9ED430.jpeg

I actually found this thread while searching online. Have the Eibach pro lift springs and front struts.

Is this the “perch” (as you call it)does it fit on the lower part of the strut under the bottom of the spring? I’ve got a 2015 ram 1500 bighorn. I’ve been looking for over two weeks. Apparently it’s hard to find the correct lower spring “mount” or as you call it “perch”.

I had 160,000 miles on my truck and most of that was from the rust belt. And as I understand it, the original lower mount was welded onto the OEM struts.

I have a KYB upper mount. And I was able to buy a KYB dust cover and bumper. But having a heck of a time, trying to find something that will fit on the bottom end of the coil spring.

Once again, let me know you’re talking about the upper mouth or the lower coil spring support?

Thanks

This was in reference to the lower spring mount.

Did you ever find the correct aftermarket part to fit those Eibach pro lift springs?

Because this is exactly where I’m at right now. I’ve spent over two freaking weeks trying to find something that will fit onto that small metal cup (above the snap ring) on the Eibach struts

Because everything I’ve read on the schematics says that the original OEM Mopar strut, the bottom support is welded onto the strut.

Let me know if you did find something that fits the struts to support the lower end of the coil spring?

Thanks

I have not needed to. But I believe when you swap to other styles of adjustable struts, you're supposed to remove the bottom spring perch and reuse it. Pretty sure it's not welded, as the perch should probably be able to rotate depending on the spring and upper spring mount. But some taps with a hammer should dislodge it off the clip that it's seated on at the shock body. This video is for a 5th Gen but the struts are essentially the same. In fact I'm running these same 5th Gen rebel struts on my truck right now. But it shows you how they come apart, disassembly should be the same for any other 4th/5th Gen strut.
