Just recently when coming to a sudden stop I noticed the truck shuts down and I noticed a warning indicator that says check gages. Anyone have this happen. I have an 07 Ram 1500 Laramie.

Start with a cluster check , Key off, press and hold the trip reset button, key on, hold button until the odometer says "CHEC" (5 or so seconds) release button an watch the cluster run through it's self test diagnostic .

If they all look good then the check gauges means one of the gauges is not been in the proper range for to long,,watch your gauges an see if any like oil pressure drops when coming to a stop or if temp is to high, the check gauge is usually telling you there is a problem with the truck
