stuck CD

hey guys, I have a cd stuck in my 05 ram. it plays fine but when i press eject it just goes back to the radio.


any ideas? I have tried disconnecting the batteries and that didnt work. also tried beating on the dash a little out of frustration and pushing a cd against the one in there with no luck.


getting sick of hearing the same cd over and over.

Try a pair of tweezers?

Unfortunately the deck is probably done. You can pull head unit out and take it apart to get the cd out but it will probably do it again. I have replaced a few of these for people with the same complaint. Seems to be a common Dodge Head unit issue. I have never tried to fix one though. Perhaps someone else has tried.

kik i have a 04 dodge ram radio in my truck and it does the same every now and then and i just pressed eject and took my knuckle and hit the front of it pretty hard and it poped right out lol if not i used my phone and hit it or some object to cause vibration in the radio

Time for a upgrade

turn the key off and then turn the key to the ON position while the same time you keep on pressing the eject key and see if that helps.

Cd player is prolly done for. Same thing happened in my 05. Had it replaced, couple years later, doing it again.

Yeah was hoping for a temporary fix but guess not.

been looking at the pioneer 4400hd any opinions on it?
