Yeah .but the free down load is out the window.Wtf. What was offered in the sc 3865, was taken out. due to certain tree hugging engineers. ( i have no other way of putting it)So they offered a free 72 hour down load of the adv option tranny tune. Well thats over with; time too pony up 40 bucks for something that was free. It should still be free imo , My 72 hours is almost up! Again WTF!!!

We released 2 different files for Dodge Ram auto trans owners.

One was a free update that allowed you to remove the trans options originally designed by SC engineers that some didn't like. The advanced trans tuning was the next option released with a 72 hour free code. After that it was a paid option.

You may have the original update mixed up with the advanced trans tuning upgrade.

That being said, if you are vinlocked at the time you try updating to get the advanced trans tuning option and don't see it listed under the Vehicle one drop down, please give customer service a call at 888-227-2447 and let a rep know so we can look into this for you and get it resolved promptly.

Scott
It was there under the veh 1 tag. ...for forty bucks not 72 hour free, Rick ,the guy on the sc line, said it was over months ago.....GRRRRR>

I'd gladly pay $40 for the upgrade. They have to pay their support team somehow. :D

I was a beta-tester for the trans options too. I'm willing to help anyone who needs a hand. If there are any 07 Hemi Rams in need of some schedules, I have 12 right now...

I looked at these and have been comparing them to each other, but idk what im looking for. I understand how to load the tune and all that, but which of these is the most aggresive and would fit my needs? Im 18...i know everyone here remembers how they drove when they were 18...so which of these schedules would be best?

haha wot, brakes, wot, brakes does sound like me. me and my buddy play a game where if your 1st in line at a red light you dump it as soon as it goes green and try to get to the other side of the intersection before someone has even left the line on the side of the intersection across from where you started. haha sounds as dumb as it actually is. but rh i will stay tuned and wait for the ones who know all

Assuming you have a 4.7 I would start by using Don's pre-made 04 schedule. Drive it for a while and tweak from there. If you really want to get into fine tuning it really helps to have your shifts mapped out on Microsoft Excel, that way you can visually see where and when your truck is going to shift relitive to throttle percent and the MPH you are traveling. Just to give you an example, this is what you would see in the images provided below. One thing to keep in mind is the closer the downshift line is to the corrisponding upshift line the more responsive the downshift is out of that particular gear. If the downshift line is further away then there is more throttle lag.
First pic is of a complete shift schedule
Second shows a gap between 3up and 4dn
Third shows that gap closed to enhance or quicken the downshift.
I know this sounds confusing but it's a start and if you need anymore help just holla.
First question is do you have Excel?
